Unendo will be active in the Renewable Energy Business. The company will work in the photovoltaic, wind and biogas sectors.

The company has as its primary objective to ensure a quality service to their customers, in a partnership aimed at achieving the objectives of saving and energy optimization, while protecting the environment. While it must take into account external factors such as economic conditions and changes in the price of raw materials, Unendo always strives to offer its customers competitive rates, and personalized service that distinguishes it from competitors of greater size. The first focus for the company is in Italy where the current situation of the photovoltaic market in Italy is characterised by the presence of more than 520.000 plants scattered throughout the national territory with a particular concentration in the Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Triveneto regions. The number of the plants currently in service with the V Conto Energia programme is 526.463 plants for a total cumulated power of 17,1 GW.The plants with a power inferior to 6 kWp represent 26% of the total power and 83% of the total rate. These numbers emphasise a change of market turning mainly to the residential rather than to the traditional large plants market.

One of the main effects determined by the review of the incentive system was the contraction of the average size of the plants realised in Italy. In particular it is evident how the average size of the plants entered in service has changed from 54 kW to 24 kW between 2011 and 2012.The customers on the Italian market are over 36 million, 25% (equal to 9 million) of them are on the free market, divided into 6 million of domestic and 3 million of non-domestic customers. In Europe the most dynamic markets are the northern European markets. In 2011 Italy was within switching rates of 10% and 6%, depending if the transfer between companies of the same group is considered or not.
